Demo/Prototype 2 of : RedNeck Vs Alien

Made with Game Maker Studio 2

There is only one level yet, but its a big one made to show the gameplay,
and its full of secrets!

The whole project is inspiered by doom, from minecraft and mario maker

The "story" is that you're a redneck who save the world from an alien invasion
because you don't like those that aren't from here.

Controls :

(can be edited in game, those are just the defaults) 

• Shoot - [Left Click]
• Moving - [Z] [Q] [S] [D]
  • Azerty because I'm in france, and so probably most people that will playtest 
• Shoot - [Left Click]
• Swing Axe - [Right Click] 
  • (also break some blocks)
• Jump - [space]  
  • (hit high enemies and overcome holes)
• Crouch - [Shift]  
  • (hit low enemies and makes you stealthier)
• Sprint - [Ctrl]
  
• Screenshot - [F12] 
  • (not available on browser. Press a second to make a gif, press aigain to stop the gif, but it will automatically stop at 10 seconds)

The Difficulty

It has 7 presets for all kinds of people, 

"ebryo" was made for friends of my mom to enjoy playtesting despide having no gaming background, 
up to "mas0chist" that was made for mas0chist. 

Then you have "custom" that lets you personalise the gameplay.

Meta

you have the browser mode, playable just here, and also the Windows version, which have some additional features like screenshot (png and gif), or a gamepad controller.

You can see the controller input in the miscellaneous section of the settings
I used many sound not made by me, all the credits are on the misc section 

Cheats

To activate cheats, just type the text. 

(the "keyboard_string" have to be reset, which is the case if you just started the game, but you can go to settings then go back)
After typing the type the text, you'll know it worked, as a text will appear briefly.
You can execute the cheat codes before clicking "new game" (exept one)
